i asked one of my colleagues if he thought that the video on myspace was postmodern, and this was his response : "In this case, I think there may be a fine line between "postmodern" and "not having a budget to do something more sophisticated," so it's hard to determine if this qualifies as postmodern or not. ANI concert last night rocked as expected! i have other completely unrelated things that i need to post, but this is a really stressful time for professors, so i have been buried in endless paper for the last week or two. i went to an inn when visiting my family last weekend to eat a *giant* dinner with prime rib. i will post a picture of the *giant* meat and dessert. merle haggard was playing that night, and my dad was so upset that he didn't know about it. he is his biggest fan. i can't get into that. i might be trying ethiopian cuisine for the first time today. a friend invited me to an african american dinner. it should be interesting!madame le professeur at 11:45 AM

i am starting to have anger management issues (seriously) because of the frequency with which people ask for money (during the day) and for my name and number (at night). i feel like a prisonner afraid to leave my apartment alone (no matter what time of day)! these people don't take no for an answer, they are easily insulted, and they act as though this is an expectation or something that i owe them! it is getting really hard not to try to avoid all strangers just to be safe! in fact, how does one expect a person to react to a stranger approaching them in the first place? i try to keep an open mind (maybe they need directions or a little money), but a person's attention and personal space belongs to them until they grant you the privilege of sharing that, and i am always willing to do that with the decent people of the world who understand that, stranger or not. how and when did people start getting so confused?madame le professeur at 5:17 PM

tornados are crazy! one of my brother's friends drove through one the other day (see pictures), we have had about 3 in the past few days, and lots of people are dying! it's worse than kansas (when i was there)! we are having a warning right now, and the university will close in 30 minutes! i need to go home, but i'm afraid to drive! i'm also afraid to be here at the university. i also don't want to work at the mall tonight. what a stupid place to keep open during tornados like this! aaaaaaahhhhhhh!

I need to resine. Reson for resignashun : Classes is too hard. Will not give extenshuns on papurs, so not enuff time. Poor cammunicashuns skills between administrashun and TAs. Wooden teech us how to teech. Anyways students dont care and cant even spel in englush so how can they lern anuther langwige. By the way, I dont even know why Im faleing my classes. April Fools!

this is too great : a lady bought about $160 worth of clothes from our store one day. yesterday, she came back with the receipt, pulled identical items from our racks, and asked for her money back...but ma'am, if you take something that isn't yours, we call that stealing. but i have my receipt! of course you do, and you also have your clothes. these are ours. she was escorted out.madame le professeur at 11:05 PM
